We were lucky enough to be commissioned to cast six pit ponies, each around 6 feet from head to tail and weighing 2 tonnes.
The sculptures, commissioned by the talented artist and sculptor Sally Matthews, pay tribute to the pit ponies of the South Wales coal mining industry.
From our foundry they went to live at the historic Blaenavon Ironworks, where they could be found grazing on the grass in and around the grounds.
