TRADITIONAL BLACK BITUMEN COATED LCC SOIL SYSTEM
Hargreaves Premier LCC is manufactured to BS 416 and provides a comprehensive offering of traditional socket & spigot pipe and fittings for above ground soil & waste.
The system is joined using the traditional caulking cord and sealant method. Premier Soil is the ideal solution for conservation and heritage projects.
1. Centrally align the pipe spigot within the socket and wet the caulking cord
2. Caulk the wet cord into the socket up to 30mm from the top using a caulking iron (or anything similar!) This centralises the pipe and provides a backing for the sealant.
3. Fill the top 30mm of the socket with black joint sealant -
We recommend CT-1 Sealant (HF Part No. S0007)
4. Once filled, smooth the sealant level with the top of the socket to provide a neat
appearance and seal the joint.
